Why do I need to provide a TIN?

A taxpayer identification number must be provided by all carriers on Mothership's network for tax purposes.

A taxpayer identification number (SSN, EIN, etc.) must be provided by all carriers on Mothership's network. This information is required for tax purposes and helps us generate digital 1099s.

Submitting your tax information is easy:

  • At onboarding, please choose your tax classification and enter your TIN.

  • To verify your identity, please upload an accepted document.

    • You can use a passport, driver's license, state-issued ID card, or resident permit ID/U.S. Green Card.
