# How do I update my information with the DOT?

## Here's where you can register for or renew your DOT or MC numbers.

A  USDOT and MC number are both required to operate with Mothership. To register or renew your number, head to the  [FMCSA website](https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/registration) . If you need to get an MC number, click  [here](https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/registration/get-mc-number-authority-operate) .
